Every year, more than 50 million metric tons of apples are produced, and apple pomace is frequently discarded as waste in the food industry. Apple pomace, a byproduct juice cider production, used sustainable raw material to make valuable products such nutraceuticals pectin. contains substantial amount antioxidant compounds, which have been related several health advantages. Therefore, components extracted from this may be pharmaceutical industries. The common new technologies obtain has come production or cider. Especially, emphasis green technique very important will contribute literature. review discussed processing, pectin bioactive compound, extraction methods, current applications byproducts, future studies on its potential uses food.
